ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR - HIP
I am a Doctor since 2004, the year I graduated from the School of Medical Sciences in Lisbon. I finished my degree in Sports Medicine from SPMD in 2006. I have been an Orthopedist since 2012 and did my residency at Garcia de Orta Hospital, where I stayed as an assistant until 2015. I was responsible for the Service for Arthroscopy and Conservative Hip Surgery, where I introduced the hip arthroscopy “out-inside” technique in 2011. I was also responsible in 2013 for introducing the aforementioned approach with “bikini" incision to perform Hip Prostheses. Currently, I am the Coordinator of the Hip Unit at Lambert Clinic and the Coordinator of the Orthopedic Team at Almada CUF Clinic.
