Your first appointment includes a full physiotherapy assessment — history, examination, and discussion of your treatment goals — followed by the first shockwave treatment session if you are appropriate and wish to proceed. The total appointment time is approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Subsequent follow-up shockwave sessions take approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
